Among the little secret areas that we would like to keep only for ourselves, the old school of Martagny has its place ! A place full of charm in the secret Lévrière valley : a small peaceful village on the edge of the forest where Laurent has settled, converting the old school into an atypical place of life : on one side the gîtes, including this really nice fitted out loft in the attic but with a very nice area ; warm and modern atmosphere combining beautiful designer furniture, art and flea markets. On the ground floor, the photo gallery, one of the common threads of the place, Laurent's passion, and on the ground floor, the wine cellar which also makes nice breakfasts around the weekend. Tasting, wine evenings on request. For late arrivals, possibility of packed lunches. To explore the surrounding area, mountain bikes are available and electric bikes can be delivered. 2 steps away, the village of Lyons la Forêt, one of the most beautiful detours in France.
Common entrance on the ground floor with photo exhibition gallery and relaxation area. The loft is located on the 2nd floor : a large single room, with sloping ceilings and light, which overlooks the river and the forest on one side, and the courtyard of the old school on the other. Very nice, comfortable lounge area, modern and very well equipped kitchen and sleeping area with a large 180x200 double bed. Shower room with wc. The house overlooks the old school yard with its courtyard at the back, and just next to it a pretty little garden (500 m²) full of charm which goes down to the river : furniture for a meal by the water on the terrace and deckchairs for a nap under the trees. Every summer, the place hosts a professional photo festival : Visions elsewhere.
