charme d'une chaumière

Au calme de la campagne normande,une belle petite chaumière indépendante dans une jolie propriété, bien située pour rayonner et visiter Honfleur,le Bec hellouin, la vallée des chaumières, Beuvron et Beaumont ...en Auge voir même Cabourg et Houlgate. Les amoureux des ouvrages d'art pourront aussi contempler le pont de Tancarville et celui de Normandie et de belles vues sur la Seine. Read more

Idyllic location

We spent a wonderful week at 'La Chaumiere' and were blessed with beautiful weather. The gite is very comfortable, well-equipped and the garden is just amazing! I loved the tranquillity and the views, ...our dog loved the spaciousness! The surrounding area is lovely for walking and Pont-Audemer is only a short drive away. Thank you Catherine and Bruno for a lovely, relaxing holiday after our long journey and for being so welcoming to us and Lucca, our Border Collie. We would love to visit again in the future. Excellent séjour dans un cadre très agréable

Très jolie chaumière très bien équipée. Grand jardin très reposant. Propriétaires présents sur le domaine mais très discrets. Magasins à proximité.

Une belle gite pour vos vacances!

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse semaine de vacances dans le gîte La Chaumière de Catherine et Bruno. En l'absence des propriétaires, nous avons été très gentiment accueillis par Annique, une amie de ...la famille. Les propriétaires vivent dans une belle maison sur la même propriété mais sont très discrets, vous avez peu de vue l'un sur l'autre à cause de beaux grands arbres et de la distance entre les deux maisons. Le gîte était très frais et propre, les lits étaient faits avec une belle literie fraîche, le réfrigérateur était allumé etcetera. Le cottage est très complet et décoré avec goût, nous pouvons dire que c'est le meilleur et le plus confortable cottage que nous ayons réservé depuis des années. Le seul inconvénient pour nous était qu'au moment où nous étions là, le jardin n'était pas entièrement clos et c'était une honte pour nos deux lévriers qui sont de vrais houdinis. Pour l'instant, ils s'efforcent de fermer complètement le portail afin que les autres chiens ne soient pas gênés. La paix et la tranquillité de la région sont accablantes et le ciel étoilé est magnifique. En bref, nous remercions Catherine et Bruno pour cet agréable séjour et recommandons vivement leur gîte ! Peaceful holiday

We had a really lovely holiday staying here. The gite is so clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden is lovely and our dog enjoyed that. There are lots of nice areas around ...to drive or walk to. We will definitely go back and highly recommend! Read more

Wonderful stay in Normandy

We stayed here for a week and loved everything about this charming Chaumiere. It is a cosy house and has everything you need. The owner was very helpful and stayed in close contact with us to make sure ...we had everything we needed. Nearby, driving into Pont-Audemer, is a Hyper Intermarche where you can buy everything you need. We made trips to Honfleur and Juno Beach, but also cycled in the neighbourhood. Also went to see Rouen. It was quite warm, but the breeze when one is sitting in the enormous garden is lovely. Also the house itself is cool on hot days. We enormously enjoyed our stay in Saint-Simeon and recommend this lovely Chaumiere! Read more
